Development of durable engineered wood products in PNG and Australia
ACIAR Project FST/2014/065 aimed to engage directly with the private sector to accelerate the development of novel engineered wood product (EWP)s in PNG and Australia. The principal industry partners in PNG were Rimbunan Hijau, PNG Forest Products, Lae Builders & Contractors, Pryde Furniture, 3A Composites, WR Carpenter PNG, and PNG Forest Industry Association
PIP led the dissemination of project information and resources via the PIP website and associated platforms. This included grahic design and artwork for technical pamphlets.

Enhancing value added wood processing in Papua New Guinea
ACIAR Project FST/2012/092 aimed to increase the contribution that utilisation of forest resources makes to national and local economies, including landowners and processors, through the development of domestic value-added wood processing methods. The principal partners in PNG were the PNG Forest Authority, PNG Forest Research
Institute, Timber and Forestry Training College, PNG University of Technology and PNG Forest Industry Association.
